Winter can be the last thing you want to think about when you are enjoying our Alaskan summer. But if you are a business owner or the manager of a commercial space, June or July is the right time to start thinking about organizing holiday decorating.
In this article, we’ll go over the reasons why you need to be tackling Christmas decorating sooner than you think, and what Green Connection can offer for your holiday lights and decorating.
4 Reasons to Get Your Christmas Light Installation Booked over the Summer
Space for holiday decorating services books up fast
By the time October rolls around, many companies have already pre-booked their light installation and decoration services. This means that trying to arrange for holiday decor in your commercial space may not be possible if you leave things to the last minute.
Installers need time to organize and prepare
At Green Connection, we have plenty of lights and decorations at the ready, along with a talented team of designers and installers, but we might not have everything that you want to make your space picture-perfect. It may take us time to get the elements that will really make your space pop, especially if you want a unique and creative design.
When you contact a Christmas decorating service like ours early, we can ensure there aren’t rush fees on decorations and that we can get everything needed to create a winter wonderland, which may not be possible if you leave things late.
For getting those decorations up we have a great team, but they can’t be everywhere at once. When you sign early, we can work together to find schedules that work for both of us.
You do not want to be even more stressed during the holiday season
Business owners, store managers and building managers know: the holiday season can be crunch time. Upcoming vacations, rushing to finish projects before the holidays and elevated demands from customers all hit at once. For some, December may even be the busiest time of year.
Don’t make your life harder: take Christmas decorating off your plate over the summer so you can focus on finishing out your business’s December well, not scrambling to find Christmas trees and lights.
Winter can come early, and you want your outdoor lights installed before it hits
By arranging your indoor and outdoor lights early, we make sure that we can get everything installed so storms don’t delay your ideal timeline for outdoor holiday decor. For this timeline, July or even May or June gives the lead time needed to design, procure and prepare your building’s decor.
What Winter Lights and Christmas Decorations Can do for Your Business
We all know it gets cold and dark in Anchorage, with extremely short days. But we can all work to make winter a great season. Having a winter lights display means you can give a boost to your community and make your business a more pleasant place to be for visitors, employees, patients and clients.
Christmas decorating in general is a change of pace and can uplift people’s spirits. It can make your commercial space more pleasant for everyone who comes through, giving novelty and cheer.
Fundamentally, decoration is about communal celebration and sends the signal that you are invested in your community. In fact, one study of winter lights on homes showed decorations give the impression of sociability and community to others.
Working with Green Connection for your Seasonal Decorations
Green Connection offers seasonal services to Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer and Wasilla.
For the outdoors, we offer winter lighting. We can illuminate buildings, trees and more, with early install options to beat winter coming in. Our service lasts through the holiday season and into midwinter because the Northern dark doesn’t end after Christmas.
For indoor use, we offer Christmas decorating with preset themed options. We provide lit trees, general decoration including wreaths and garlands, and some indoor lights. We work with you to find the best way to arrange festive elements without impeding the flow or function of your space, because your business still needs to run.
We also offer a poinsettia program, which is a great way to bring some life into the winter months and is a classic touch for any space that wants a pop of color.
