SMS Terms and Conditions

Program description. Green Connection offers a conversational text messaging service. Employees of Green Connection use their business phone numbers to exchange text messages one-to-one with customers who have given consent. This is not a marketing, promotional, or automated messaging program.
Messages you can expect. Messages from Green Connection relate to service appointment scheduling and confirmations, technician arrival windows, plant care and maintenance questions, quotes and proposals, retail and special orders at our greenhouse, and holiday lighting or décor installation and removal.
How to opt in. You may opt in by giving a Green Connection employee your mobile number and agreeing to be texted — verbally at our greenhouse, during an on-site service visit, or by phone at (907) 276-7836 — or by providing your number and checking the SMS consent box on a Green Connection web form. [Remove the web form clause if you are not adding the checkbox.] Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Green Connection.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies. Because these are conversational messages, the number you receive depends on your service schedule and on conversations you initiate with us.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Green Connection does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any Green Connection number to stop receiving messages from that number. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent from that number. The keywords QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE are also recognized. Reply START to resume messaging.
Opting out of one Green Connection employee’s number does not automatically opt you out of messages from other Green Connection numbers. To stop messages from all of our numbers, contact us at (907) 276-7836 or info@greenconnection.net.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any Green Connection number, or contact us at (907) 276-7836 or info@greenconnection.net during office hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Alaska Time.
Delivery. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. Green Connection is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not use SMS for urgent or time-critical matters — call us instead.
Eligibility. You must be 18 or older, or have permission from the account holder, to enroll. You confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and agree to notify us if that number changes or is reassigned.
Privacy. Your use of this service is also governed by our SMS Messaging Privacy Policy above.
Changes. Green Connection may modify or discontinue this messaging program or these terms at any time. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
